Older: Idiot of the Month - Man Killed While Shooting Up a Gun Shop

On September 17, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN Brian Layner, 26, was killed after he began shooting at a gun store clerk. The whole event was captured on security cameras. Layner walks into the store and shoots the employee twice in the chest. As he's falling, the employee is able to draw and shoot back once, killing Layner. The employee was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to recover. No clear motive could be found for the shooting; it was likely an attempted robbery of the firearms.
