Armed Robber Shot by Jewelry Store Employee in Vegas

On January 24, 2013 around 4:50 pm in Las Vegas, NV, Antwjan McClelland and another unidentified man walked into a jewelry store armed with a gun and demanded cash from the register. The employee, however, had his own concealed handgun and shot McClelland multiple times in the arm, causing him and his accomplice to abandon their robbery and flee the store. About 30 minutes later, McClelland checked himself into a local hospital and was captured by police there. He has been charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, and burglary while in possession of a firearm.

No one else was injured in the incident and police are looking for other suspects.
