Homeowner Shoots Two Burglars; Keeps One at Gunpoint for Police

  On January 11, 2013 in Michigan City, IN a man was in his house alone when two men broke in. The homeowner grabbed his gun and confronted them, shooting both. He was able to hold one burglar at gunpoint for police; the other fled but was found shortly after police arrived when they tracked him to another house nearby--he was hiding in a closet inside (the irony kills me).

The police are still investigating, but formal charges have been made. No one else was injured in the incident.
