On January 12, 2013 in San Antonio, TX, Paul Cavazos spotted a man who he believed had already burglarized his house twice in the recent past carrying a large, flat screen TV past Cavazos's front door. Grabbing his shotgun, Cavazos exited the front door, shotgun leveled at the burglar, and ordered him to put the tv down and get on the ground. The burglar was compliant and police arrived later to arrest him. The whole event was captured on the security camera Cavazos had installed over his front door.
The burglar was later identified as Gilbert Nunez and has been charged with burglary of a habitation by force.
