Older: 85 Year Old Woman with Gun Forces 17 Year Old Intruder to Call Police on Himself

On August 19, 2008 around 3 pm in Springfield Township, PA, an 85 year old woman was home when a 17 year old burglar broke into her house. She had began keeping a .22 caliber revolver by her bed after a neighbor's home had been burglarized a few weeks before. She walked past him to the bedroom and brought the gun back, pointed it at him, and asked what he was doing in her house. All the burglar could mumble was "I didn't do it." She then made him pick up the phone and dial 911 and report himself. She continued to keep him at gunpoint until police arrived to arrest him.

He has been charged with attempted burglary.
