On January 24, 2013 around 4 am in McLoud, OK, a homeowner caught a man burglarizing his house. The homeowner pulled his handgun and shot the burglar in the stomach. The burglar, having only been shot with a .25 caliber round, immediately fled as the homeowner called police.
Police were able to apprehend the burglar after he checked himself in to a local hospital. He is expected to be charged, but the homeowner will not face any charges.
No one else was hurt in the incident.
