Around 11 pm on February 12, 2013 in Haskell, TX, Cody Wyrick, 22, broke into the home of an unidentified homeowner. The homeowner told Wyrick to leave multiple times, but when Wyrick continued to advance on the homeowner, he drew his gun and shot Wyrick in the hand, the leg, and twice in the chest. When police finally arrived, they found him in the home and Wyrick was transported to a local hospital.
No one else was injured by the gunfire.
