Business Owner Holds Vehicle Burglar at Gunpoint for Police; No Shots Fired

In the afternoon of February 18, 2013 in Bakersfield, CA, 33 year old Jason Peret was caught red-handed breaking into a vehicle by a local business owner, he came outside and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.

Peret was booked on vehicle burglary charges. While police temporarily detained the the business owner too, he was quickly released when his story matched that of witnesses.

No shots were fired.
