Around 3 am on February 15, 2013 in Myrtle Beach, SC, a woman was on her way to work and had just arrived and parked when an unidentified male opened up her door, pushed her further in the car, and demanded money while brandishing a knife. She kicked him, prompting him to tell her, "You're dead." Instead, she reached into her glovebox and pulled out her pistol and pointed it him.

The robber ran away so fast that he left his ball cap and his knife inside the car, losing them in his haste to get as far away as possible.

Of course, the victim had to fire no shots and still potentially saved her life, the life of future victims after this robber likely rethinks his life choices, and definitely her property.
