Miami Homeowner Returns Home to Two Burglars and Shoots Both

Around 12:20 pm on February 15, 2013 in Miami, FL, a homeowner returned home to find two burglars inside his home. By the time police arrived, they found Preston Pierre, 18, and Samuel Levy, 26, with gunshot wounds to their legs and the homeowner guarding them.

No one else was injured in the confrontation. The two burglars have been charged with one count each of burglary with assault and one count of unoccupied burglary after it was discovered that they had also burglarized an unoccupied home next door.
