On late at night on January 29, 2013 in Huntington, WV, a homeowner returned to his house to find his front door wide open, his back door kicked in, and a burglar, 37 year old John Allen Bryan, piling electronics onto a blanket near the front door and in a trashcan near the backdoor. The homeowner pulled his gun and the burglar immediately surrendered, anxiously awaiting the police to come and arrest him.
Bryan was charged with burglary. No shots were fired.
