Store Clerk Defends Himself and Customers from Armed Gunman

On December 28, 2012 at approximately 3:15 PM, a gunman ran into the King's Food Store in northeast Houston, ordering everyone to get on the ground and demanding cash. The store clerk quickly drew his own concealed handgun and shot him once in the chest.

The robber was apprehended and taken to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown. No one else was injured in the incident.
