On January 2, 2012 in Lehigh Acres, FL, a local man apprehended two teenagers in the woods behind his house after observing them burglarizing his neighbor's house. The two, 18 and 14, have been linked to at least three other burglaries in the past three weeks, to include the burglary, a week before Christmas, of the house of the man who caught them.
Neighbors were appreciative of their gun-toting neighbor, hoping that it would mean an end to the robberies.
Thieves caught, property regained, justice served, and no shots fired. That's a pretty good day.
