Hotel Clerk Pulls Handgun from Lunchbox and Stops Robbery

On January 4, 2013 around 1 am in Casper, WY, a hotel clerk was manning the reception desk when two men with covered faces came into the hotel, approached the desk, and demanded money. "This is no joke; this is a holdup," one said.

The clerk reached into her lunch box and pulled out her gun, causing the two robbers to flee without a shot being fired.

Just three days ago, two men matching these suspects' description and using the same modus operandi robbed a hotel in nearby Laramie, CO, as well as a hotel in Loveland, CO the day before.
