Resident Shoots Armed Robber Caught Breaking into His Apartment

On January 9, 2013 around 8:30 pm in Dallas, TX an apartment resident used deadly force to defend his apartment and himself against an armed intruder who was trying to force his way in the door. 

No one else was injured in the incident. A grand jury will review the case, which is standard procedure for all shootings in Texas. The resident will likely not be charged for the shooting under castle doctrine.
