Man Shoots Armed Home Invader in Self-Defense

On April 12, 2012 at approximately 10:15 PM in Fort Wayne, IN, Patrick Lee, 18, kicked in the front door of an apartment. The resident and another man were inside as Lee entered, brandishing a gun. The resident grabbed his gun and fired at Lee, who fled on foot and was found by police about 100 yards away. He was transported to a local hospital, but pronounced dead shortly thereafter. No charges have been filed.
