Around 5:00 AM on November 3, 2012 in Shelby, NC, Michael Sizemore was inside the residence of Roy and Bertha Lowman when he became argumentative and the couple asked him to leave. After he left, Sizemore seized a metal pipe and began vandalizing the Lowman's vehicle with it. When Roy Lowman went outside to confront him, Sizemore began attacking him. Bertha Lowman grabbed their rifle and shot Sizemore three times, ending the fight. Police arrived shortly thereafter and transported Sizemore to a local hospital. It appears charges will not be filed.
Should we start banning metal pipes?
