Man with Legally Concealed Handgun Defends Himself by Shooting Robber

On April 16, 2012 at night in Orlando, FL, Tavish Lee Mathews was attempting to rob Terrance Lamar Taylor. Instead, Taylor pulled out a legally carried concealed handgun and shot Matthew multiple times. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Police have determined that the shooting was justified and no charges have been filed.
