On December 23, 2012 in Evansville, IN, a 79 year old grandfather was forced to use his concealed handgun to defend himself and his 17 year old granddaughter against a 19 year old man, Devon Gee, who was attacking her and threatening to use a stun gun on her and her grandfather.

After the two, who had been dating, got into an argument, he threatened to zap her with the stun gun. She ran from the house, but he chased after her and caught her in the yard and began beating her. The girl's grandfather, who was also in the house, came outside to help her and warned Gee to stop beating her. According to witnesses, Gee also threatened to use the stun gun on the grandfather, which could be fatal to him with his heart condition. He approached the grandfather, reaching into his pocket. The grandfather told Gee several times to stop, but Gee refused. The grandfather pulled out his handgun and fired one shot. Gee ran into a neighbor's yard, but collapsed before he made it any further. Police arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Here's another homicide in the statistics book. What's not going in the statistics book? A domestic assault, a homicide, and a lifetime worth of domestic assaults from a Chris Brown wannabe.
