Description of Bad Guy(s): | Armed robber who attempted to steal a bag of money from a person in a bank parking lot. Four other banks had been robbed in the previous month by someone matching his description and in the same manner | ||||
Description of Good Guy(s): | An off-duty police officer, who was on vacation and happened to be inside the bank cashing a check, heard the commotion in the parking lot and went to investigate. The victim said the robber was armed, causing the good guy to pull his gun. The suspect started to run and the good guy shot him in the leg, incapacitating him and allowing him and a security guard to handcuff the robber | ||||

Outcome: | The robber was taken to the hospital and will be arrested as soon as he's released. No one else was injured by the gunfire. The good guy has not been charged with any crime | ||||
