Description of Bad Guy(s): | 54 year old man, who punched a 30 year old woman's 6 year old son in the mouth. When the mother protested, he began to punch her repeatedly in the face, chasing her around the home as she tried to escape as he threw furniture around trying to get to her | ||||
Description of Good Guy(s): | 30 year old mother, who grabbed a loaded handgun and shot the man in the hip, incapacitating him, in self-defense | ||||

Outcome: | The man was transported to the hospital and will be arrested following his release. No one else was injured by the gunfire. The mother has not been charged with any crime | ||||
