Description of Bad Guy(s): | Three unidentified males who came to an upstairs apartment and kicked the front door in, assaulting the occupants, which included a 21 year old man, his fiance, and her four nephews and neices. After subduing him, they began stealing jewelry | ||||
Description of Good Guy(s): | Dmitri Brown-Winfield, 21, who struggled against the invaders before being thrown and held down by his neck. He was able to reach his handgun and shot the invader who was holding him down multiple times, killing him, before chasing the other two away | ||||
Type of Gun Used: | Handgun | ||||
Outcome: | One of the three home invaders was killed; the other two have not been found. No one else was injured by the gunfire. Brown-Winfield has not been charged with any crime | ||||
