On November 3, 2012 in Espanola, NM, a 35 year old woman shot and killed a 33 year old man who had forced his way through her front door, ripped her shirt off, and threatened her at gunpoint to continue undressing. Despite warnings that she would shoot him, he continued to advance on her until she grabbed a 9mm Luger and shot him once, running out of the house and calling 911.
One more firearm homicide added to the books, but who's tracking the one prevented rape/homicide and the possible many more prevented rapes/homicides?
