Roderick Banks, 21, was charged with armed robbery and felony murder on December 25, 2012 after he and an accomplice tried to rob a man near 20 Jackson Street in Atlanta, GA. Their victim shot Banks's accomplice in self-defense. After Banks drove him to the hospital, he was arrested and his accomplice died in the hospital.
Another firearm homicide that could just as easily be scratched from the books because it may have stopped a homicide, a robbery, and many future robberies and potential homicides.
