Police Arrest Armed Citizen Who Shot His Assailant; Surveillance Video Proves His Innocence

Description of Bad Guy(s):		Thomas Terrell Jamison, 35, armed, who shot a man in the leg on the street in a possible robbery attempt
Description of Good Guy(s):		Unnamed 43 year old man who, after being shot in the leg, pulled out his own gun and shot Jamison in the chest
Type of Gun Used:		Hand Gun
Outcome:		Initially, police jumped to conclusions (since everyone in D.C. thinks that guns are evil) and arrested the good guy for second-degree murder. After investigators pulled surveillance tape, however, it became clear that he was acting in defense of his life and he was released. No one else was injured by the gunfire
