Description of Good Guy(s): | An unnamed off-duty deputy who was returning home from the gym when Alvarez attacked him. He attempted to retreat into his house, but the door leading in from the garage was locked and he was actively defending himself | ||||

Outcome: | The homeowner withdrew his concealed firearm and shot Alvarez, injuring him enough to stop him from being a threat (Alvarez is significantly bigger than the homeowner). He then held him for police. No one else was injured by the gunfire. The homeowner has not been charged with any crime | ||||
