Description of Bad Guy(s): | Harley Alan Madison, 33, who broke a window and invaded a home before being confronted by the homeowner. Instead of leaving as the homeowner requested, he attempted to charge him. | ||||
Description of Good Guy(s): | Unnamed Armed Homeowner, who discharged his gun when the intruder charged at him, causing the intruder to immediately turn around and flee | ||||

Outcome: | No one was injured by the gunfire. The police, assisted by a K-9 unit, eventually apprehended the intruder; while the firearm did not directly aid in the apprehension, it did prevent the intruder from assaulting the homeowner. The homeowner will not be charged. | ||||
