Outcome: | The police didn't show up fast enough. While the homeowner was still on the phone with 911, the intruder finally broke in. The homeowner, fearing for his life, shot the intruder three times in the face and torso. No one else was injured by the gunfire; the intruder was hospitalized and will likely face charges.
