Outcome: | The 72 year old woman heard the window breaking, grabbed her gun, and confronted Melton in the living room. When Melton started advancing toward her, she fired one shot. Melton collapsed, although police confirmed later that she hadn't actually shot him. When police arrived, they found her sitting on her couch holding him at gunpoint. | ||||
