Description of Bad Guy(s): | Alvin Aikens, 21, armed, who was also arrested in a string of armed robberies in late 2011 but somehow was still out on the streets committing armed robberies. It seems that law against felons owning weapons didn't slow him down too much. | ||||
Description of Good Guy(s): | Store owner, Miguel Martinez, and his two children who were working at the store, his 20 year old son and 17 year old daughter | ||||

Outcome: | The robber got what we wanted, the cash, but then still turned and fired at Martinez on his way out of the store anyway. Martinez returned fire, hitting Aikens in the foot. Police were able to track him to his apartment, arrest him, and charge him with aggravated robbery, theft, and fleeing. No one else was injured by any of the gunfire. | ||||
