Description of Good Guy(s): | Jan Cooper, 72, armed with a .357 magnum revolver, was defending herself, her 85 year old WWII Veteran husband who is wheelchair-bound, and her home | ||||

Outcome: | Cooper called 911, begging for police as Perez kept trying to break through her back door in the middle of the night with her dog barking ferociously at him. She yelled at him to back up and leave, but he refused. She finally shot at him, missing his head by inches. He quickly apologized and ran away, but was caught by police shortly thereafter. No one was injured by the gunfire. Cooper has not been charged with any crime | ||||
